Paintings and drawings
I'm a British artist, raised in Australia, living in London. I'm also a writer and performance poet and my paintings explore the illusory nature of existence, where "every thing passes, everything changes, everything born knows the process of ageing, each moment is born anew and dies instantaneously, we live in a world of birth and death simultaneously." Our challenge is to make every fleeting moment a moment of wonder, joy, skill, learning and understanding. The artist's meditation is to reach "peak" performance and hold it for as long as possible and so lose yourself in the sheer beauty and concentration of "now". We are the eyes of the universe observing itself.
Slam poetry
Slam poetry is like watching 3 minute pieces of spoken word theatre. I write poetry and stories and perform in many countries. I am available for poetry performance, with a range of spoken word from whacky, surreal, funny stories to wild stream of consciousness and philosophical poetry. I am actively seeking exhibitions worldwide and encourage contact from agents and galleries.
The eyes of the universe
Sometimes I feel like I'm the eyes of the universe observing itself. Life is transitory and ever changing. Each moment is born anew and dies instantaneously. Like living an acid trip.
