CLUB GLAM - The Freaks Come Out at Night
CLUB GLAM celebrates the vibrant spirit of nightlife and the extraordinary individuals who define its atmosphere. This series of digital artworks pays homage to those late-night visionaries – the eccentrically dressed, magnetic figures who seemed to emerge from another dimension. Detached from trends yet ahead of their time, they embodied a futuristic sense of glamour and self-expression.
Inspired by Whodini’s 1984 anthem “The Freaks Come Out at Night,” my works translate that timeless energy into a visual narrative. Comprising three double pieces and five single high-resolution digital paintings, the series reimagines the surreal, dreamlike sensations of the club scene – colorful, electric, and otherworldly.
Created using AI as a contemporary creative tool, CLUB GLAM merges my personal memory with digital imagination. The resulting eleven works are presented as large-scale, magazine-style posters – a deliberate nod to the iconic club promotions of the 1990s and early 2000s, when every night promised its own mythology.
