Mohamed Errad's school is oral tradition, religious festivals and rites of passage that mark life from birth to the gravestone. His second source of inspiration, he claims he found it in the beautiful Atlantic plain where he lives, dominated by the green of olive trees, the yellow of passion flowers and the red of poppies. Focusing on to Erraad, He portrays its viewer two completely different styles of painting: in his first way, the artist first paints the support of his canvas in a single color, usually yellow, and above a multitude of animals nested and layered with very bright colors. Subsequently, he scrapes, with a piece of wood, the bodies of this fauna, thus giving them decor and relief. In his other style, Errad paints phantasmagorical characters and animals, of African inspiration, tightly pressed against each other, jostling each other as if the place had to run out. We notice that the heads of the characters are like masks with large holes in place of the eyes.
