In a time of silence, when the world held its breath, a series of playful, contemplative, and lovingly crafted beings emerged: handcrafted mixed-media collages that intertwine the animal and the human, humor and melancholy. Each exhibit was created not on a computer, but through patient meticulous work: cut out, colored, and arranged. Here, wordplay meets world observation—a "menagerie" of characters that pour human quirks into animal forms.The idea was born in 2020 during lockdown—from time, leisure, and the need to transform isolation into creativity. Over five months, a new "creature" was born daily: more than 150 small portraits of a special time, in which imagination became both refuge and expression.
