Retrospective exhibition
Eduardo Bertone started his career in the late '90s, he is an Argentinian illustrator based in Madrid, an energetic artist who creates freely across a variety of mediums. Bertone's colorful artwork combines his origin and the cultural diversity discovered while traveling. His style is placed between psychedelic pop surrealism, doodling and neo-expressionism. Bertone's work has been featured in several books and magazines, such as Taschen's Illustration Now!, AI-AP Book, and Lürzer's Archive Best 200 Illustrators. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions internationally. Alongside his artistic work he co-founded Bertone Studio with Michiyo Sato. They work internationally for commercial projects.
Artist's Statement
"Art for me is one of the reasons that it’s worth it to live. It’s what I really enjoy doing, a way to express myself with the rest of the world. It’s what I love. For me, I always try to tell people what I see and to share my own personal view with every piece that I create." -The Screen Girls
